4/6/02 - The annual MTV Movie Awards were held on the 1st of June 2002. Will successfully won the award for "Best Male Performance" for his role in "Ali". Other winners on the night included "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring", Nicole Kidman, Reese Witherspoon, Denzel Washington, "American Pie 2", "Pearl Harbor" and "Rush Hour 2".


12/5/02 - Will Smith is due to appear on the "Today Show" in New York on the 21st of June 2002. Check out Pollstar for further details.


7/5/02 - Will Smith has been nominated for the category of Best Male Performance for his role in "Ali" in the MTV Movie Awards. The show is due to air in the U.S. on Thursday the 6th June at 9pm (EST).


19/4/02 - Will Smith is back in the studios again!! The album's release is due to coincide with the release of "Men In Black 2" in June 2002. He told Entertainment Weekly that: "I've recorded about 30 songs already". The first single is due to be "Nod Ya Head".


19/4/02 - "Men In Black 2" is due for release in the UK on the 2nd August 2002.


19/4/02 - Each Friday the "Men In Black 2" official site is due to feature an alien that will appear in the forthcoming movie.


19/4/02 - "Men In Black 2" is due for release in the U.S. on the 3rd July 2002.


18/3/02 - Word is Arnold Schwarzenegger will be producing the forthcoming drama "I Am Legend". Michael Bay is to direct the film. And Will Smith is in negotiations to star in the production.


22/1/02 - Will and Jada have bought a house in South Africa after falling in love with Africa while filming "Ali".

11/12/01 - Will is rumoured to have signed up for a voice role in the forthcoming movie "Sharkslayer" - a CGI film by Dreamworks (creators of "Antz" and "Shrek"). The computer-generated film is due for release in 2004.


26/11/01 - According to Aintitcoolnews Will Smith's next project is likely to be either acting in an adaptation of John Grisham's novel "The Runaway Jury", a sequel to the movie "Bad Boys" or "I Am Legend".


9/11/01 - The soundtrack for the movie "Ali" is due for release in the States on the 27th November 2001. The tracks due to appear on the album are as follows:

9/11/01 - Michael Jackson has indicated that there is to be a Men In Black 3.  He's been quoted as saying: "I did a cameo for the movie [MIB2]. I will probably come back and do one for MIB3 as well."  Michael Jackson plays a cameo role as an alien in Men In Black 2.
